Outbound Calling for the Newspaper Industry

Features and Functionality

OUTBOUND NOTIFICATION: All applications require the newspaper to generate a file containing a call-list from the host. This file is submitted to a location where CHATTERBOX™ OBN will access it.

CHATTERBOX™ OBN will play one script per application, which is designed in consultation with the newspaper. These applications make calls from the supplied list, sometimes soliciting a "touch-tone" response from the recipient, at other times they simply deliver a recorded message.

When a response is requested, the applications will log the response to a file. If practical, the applications can transfer the call to an agent or queue. Update of the newspaper's host is possible in many cases, however this at an additional charge.

All modules have the following Options Available

  • Report Generation
  • Transfer to an Agent
  • Request Agent Call Back
  • Host Update (Additional Charge)

Benefits

CHATTERBOX™ OBN is a completely hosted service, you do not need any dedicated hardware installed and there is no capital expense, installation or setup fee. Pay only for what you use and use as much or as little as you require.

Pricing

CHATTERBOX™ OBN costs as little as $0.10 per minute to use and is billed monthly. Your monthly invoice will include details about which OBN campaigns were used, detailed call info showing how many calls were made as well as the result and duration of each call.

OBN HOST UPDATE (ADDITIONAL CHARGE):

All host updating will be done through scheduled updates using a file created by CHATTERBOX™ OBN (i.e. batch updates as opposed to live updates.)
